Logistics Enterprise Architecture (LogEA)
- The Logistics Enterprise Architecture (LogEA) seeks to provide a single authoritative strategic map of future Logistics business practices, systems, and organizations. The LogEA is a compilation of Operational Architecture, Systems Architecture, and a Transition Plan that will provide the overall future state direction for Logistics. LogEA is defining and implementing the guiding principles for the Logistics Transformation via the implementation of business processes, systems, and organizations. In addition, it will provide the framework to meet future POM requirements.
- The eLog21 Campaign is being driven by the LogEA Architecture.
- LogEA will create a single authoritative source to define both operational and systems approach for the Air Force logistics supply chain.
- LogEA will do the following:
- Define and align the organizational vision, mission, goals and objectives with business processes and IT initiatives
- Explore innovative technologies
- Provide foundation for achieving Air Force business vision
- LogEA ensures all eLog21 initiatives are working towards and aligned
with the two eLog21 overarching goals.
